Birthday Parties

We have birthday party options to suit all ages and budgets, the ones detailed below are our tried and tested party ideas however if you have a special request or don’t see what you want on here then we would be delighted to discuss it with you. We can try to incorporate your party theme if you let us know what they are into e.g princesses, dinosaurs or animals.

The Ultimate Cooking Party

During this 2 hour party your mini chefs (complete with hat & apron) will cook their own party lunch or tea from a wide range of menu choices depending on age & preferences. We will bring everything including ingredients, equipment, the party bags & gift, provide you with invitations and clear up at the end. All you need to do is provide a venue, the drinks and the children leaving you to sit back and relax! (aged 5+)

 Cupcake Decorating Party

During this 2 hour party the children will make some cakes of their own and depending on oven space & numbers we will also bring some pre-made. We will work with the children to make different types of icing from fab coloured buttercream to sticky raspberry fondant and show them how to use sugarpaste to cut shapes and make roses for their cakes.

Each child will take home 6 cakes they have decorated in a beautiful box, their chefs hat and party bag bursting with cake baking goodies. Aged 7 – 17

Splatastic Party

 Swop your apron for a lab coat & let food & science collide in this amazing new birthday party! Try making  ice cream in a bag, speedy setting sparkly jelly and toffee that explodes! Children make pizza to eat & invitations, party bag & gift are included. Aged 8+

Splatsploding Party

 Food science will amaze and delight in this pre-historic party! Exploding volcanoes, edible slime & dinosaur biscuits are all in store for your mini chef scientists! Invitations and party bag included. Aged 5+

Cake & Cookie Decorating Activity

Bored of hiring a clown or bouncy castle, this activity is perfect for a larger group of children or for a fun activity within your own party. We will make and bake some cookies in fun shapes and while they are cooking the children will use different types of icing, sprinkles & glitter to decorate some cakes.

Min 10 children for 1 hour (aged 5+)

 Teenage Party

This is a lunch or supper party, even your own dinner party! While Mum disappears or sits back with a nice cup of tea (or glass of wine!) the teenagers are in charge! The Splat team will work with these new chefs to create their own food which they will sit down and enjoy at the end. Many themes and recipes are available, here’s a few to inspire you:

• Home Made Nachos with home-made guacamole and salsa or loaded potato skins
• Chicken or Vegetable Fajitas
• Cowboy Cookies (no matter how old they are, everyone needs to get sticky and use sprinkles and glitter, it’s not a proper party otherwise)
• Chilli Chocolate fudge to take homeOR
• Home-made Pasta with either home-made Pesto Sauce or Cherry Tomato Sauce or Home-made Pizza
• Chocolate Chip or Vanilla Pavlovas with Summer Fruits
• Cinder Toffee to take homeOR

• Chocolate fridge crunchy to take home
