Childrens Cooking
Joanna & Jules are passionate about getting children into the kitchen to learn, touch & taste food in a fun and informative way, we are keen to talk to anyone who would like to work with us however we can offer the following:
Sweet Summer Treats – 9 August 10am – 12noon
2 hours of cooking up some delicious sweet summer recipes such as summer puddings, strawberry tarts & icecream. Your children will have fun and leave with a bag of goodies to share! £20 (age 5+)
French Experience Day – 14 August 10am – 3.30pm
A whole day of French cooking. Using fresh, seasonal ingredients we’ll start by making our own French lunch from scratch then move on to some sweet treats. As ever the children will leave with a bag of goodies so parents won’t miss out! £45 (age 7+)
Whizz Bang Food – 22 August 9.30am – 12.30
Our new Splatsploding and Splattastic birthday parties using molecular gastronomy (all the rage with cleb chefs) have been so popular that we are running this new childrens workshop this summer. Send your mini chefs along to learn tricks to rival Heston Blumenthal, we’ll be making caviar pearls, deconstructed chocolates, blackcurrant bubbles and bouncing eggs! £30 (age 8+)
Saturday Morning Cooking Clubs
Join us for a fun cookery class from 10am until 11.15am every Saturday morning in term time. Each week the children will make a different dish (mixture of sweet and savoury dishes throughout the term), learn cooking techniques, explore different foods, run food experiments and take part in tastings. We will be using seasonal fruit and vegetables where feasible. Children will be expected to book for complete terms so that they can build up their skills week by week however we will be running some taster sessions. £8 per session (aged 5+)

Ana
Dear Ana
Thankyou for your enquiry, all of our children’s cooking activities are suitable for children between the ages of 5 – 14yrs. We find that children younger than 5 don’t have the motor skills or concentration to cook for long.
We would be delighted to welcome your daughter to our clubs & workshops as soon as she is 5, why not have a cooking party for her birthday, we have several options available?!
If you have any other questions please dont hesitate to get in touch.
Jules & Joanna.
